Purim on the Thames

Join us for a fantastic evening of great food and drink, community spirit, and Purim cheer on Purim eve.

When: Monday 6th March 5:30 - 7:00 PM for families with children, 7:30 PM for Adults

Where: The Battersea Barge Nine Elms Lane SW11 8PZ (moored between Riverlight 1 and 2)

This is not a boat ride, the barge is a beautifully converted barge parked permanently on the Thames adjacent to Nine Elms lane.

What: crafts and activities for children, open bar for Adults, buffet dinner, and express megillah reading.

Purim Day Celebrations

To help you fulfil two of the mitzvot of Purim day, hearing the Megillah and eating a festive meal, we are providing two times to join us.

There is no need to join both, take your pick.

Tuesday Morning 7th March 7:30 AM

30 Minute megillah reading followed by Bagel Breakfast

Tuesday early evening, 5:00 PM

Megillah reading followed by Purim Dinner

Join the Purim gift Bag exchange


One of the Mitzvot of Purim is Mishloach Manot, to send gifts of food to a friend on Purim Day.

This year we will be organising a community Purim gift exchange, sign up today to give a bag, and get a bag including delicious freshly baked hamentashen.

Each Bag is £10, you can sign up with £10 to send a bag and receive one in exchange, or you can choose to sponsor more bags. If you would like to join the exchange by sending a bag but don’t want to receive one, just let us know on the form.
